Monday Made It {sharks!}

Today I am linking with up Tara for Monday Made It!  I love getting ideas from everyone who links up with this series.  Since I was at the beach last week, {take me back, please!} I didn't have a lot of time to work on projects.
While I was at the beach, I bought a shark (see last post for details) and shark teeth. I thought it would be neat to have some way to display them without the kids touching them or better yet, stealing them!  So, I made this little display to put beside the shark!

This week I plan on working on my Social Studies binders for next year, organizing all of my new materials!  Time to get organized!

  1. Thanks for linking up Lana! Your kiddos are going to go nuts over your shark display:))) So cool! Living in Florida, I much rather see sharks on TV or in a jar as opposed to when I'm at the beach!!!

  4. Great display, Lana. I love the touch-but-don't-take approach.
    I am also looking forward to hearing about your plans for organizing your social studies binders. Currently half of my social studies materials are on my living room floor...
    Don't you just love summer?!

  5. What a great idea! I'm sure your kids will love it. I'd be lying if I said that the shark didn't intrigue me just a bit. I've never seen that before!

  6. Your display is a great way to keep everything safe, yet accessible. I love it! I also can't wait to read about your social studies binders...that is one of my least favorite subjects to teach so I'm hoping you can breathe some life into me! :) Your blog is awesome! I found you through Monday Made It. I'm a fellow 4th grade teacher from the north and am your newest follower.

  9. This is great! I just recently found a shark tooth when I was cleaning out my room from some old trip to the ocean. I just might need to consider making something similar. I'm your newest follower! I'll be teaching 4th and 5th grade this fall.

  10. The beach is magical. My boys, my husband and I spent hours and hours and hours through the years perusing the sand in search of the ever illusive shark teeth. Countless delightful beach moments:) Thanks for your marvelous post, which brought all the sweet memories back.
