Shopping for caddies/table bins

This week I saw someone post on Instagram these brightly colored caddies/table bins that they found at Michaels.  I set out to find them, but the Michaels I went to didn't have anything even close to them.  :(  I have looked online and found the photo below.  Does anyone know another place that might have them?  I've checked Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and Big Lots.
I did snag a few cute things like I was shopping!

Michaels:

I really need a basket to store books that I don't put out in my library that I pull out specifically for certain topics.  This cute pink basket will perfect for that!
I couldn't pass up these cute chevron items!  I always like to keep blank cards and thank you cards at school because you never know when a student will give you a gift and I like to have a card to write to them that day.
Surprisingly, while at Michaels, I found these polka dot fills in that match my border I bought this week!  The pens were only $2.00 and will be a cute gift for my secret pal and my partner teacher.

Hobby Lobby:
After not finding the caddies at Michaels, I headed over to Hobby Lobby {my favorite}!  While I didn't find the caddies there, I did pick up bags for back to school gifts and tissue paper for a future Monday Made It project!  I picked up a few other household items, too.
Big Lots:
After seeing a post on Instagram of cute storage at Big Lots, I headed that way as well!  They were very reasonably priced ($1.20) each so I stocked up.  I purchased 9 rectangular baskets you see below: 3 pink, 3 blue, and 3 green.  I also bought 4 pink square baskets.

I'm going to try another Michaels for those caddies/table bins.  Do you know where else I might find some?  Edited to add:  I've used small ones in the past from The Dollar Tree (like the ones shown below), but I am looking for larger ones!

  1. I found some caddies at Garden Ridge! I am not sure if you have one or not, but they had A TON of really great organizational baskets for pretty cheap! I also snagged a few at the Dollar Tree. I have heard that Target generally has some things like this is their dollar section during back to school time. Our Target is just setting up their display, so look for those things to come out soon!

  2. Hi Lana:
I've seen caddies like that at Target, but I don't remember them having such adorable colors.
Looks like your shopping trip was still a success!
(I'll e-mail you if I see these anywhere--online or in person...)

They don't look nearly as cute as Maria's picture, but I think this might be the same thing...

  4. Lana,
I love your blog and am so excited to find some more upper elementary teachers to follow. What is your idea for the caddies? Basic supplies? Writing workshop? Just curious. I have used them in the past and trying to plan for this year. I will keep my eyes open while I'm out and about! I've been lucky in the past at Walmart and Target. I also recently ordered book baskets online from ReallyGoodStuff. They have caddies: http://www.reallygoodstuff.com/three-compartment-caddies-neon/p/157197/

  5. Hi, Lana,

I have those brightly colored caddies from Target in 6 colors. They are $2.50, and they usually bring them out by August here in Southwest MO. Good luck in your search! Love your blog!

    Blessings,

  6. Target didn't have teacher bins this year...too bad. I found this wonderful website after MUCH searching...seems they make many products found at other sites...but you have to buy in bulk. Maybe someone at your school will want to go in on the caddies with you.
