Five for Friday {D is for dog}

This week we have had lots of fun doing activities with the letter D for dog! Since we adopted two miniature schnauzers last weekend, this was the perfect week for the letter D for dog! A big thank you to my best blogging buddy, Erin, for suggesting doing letter D for dog this week!
{one}
We made a cute dog craft this week. E colored them black and grey, just like our Maggie and Molly.
{two}
We played two fun games that could be used as center activities in a classroom. The first one had sheets for numbers 1-10. We used brown Play-Doh to make dog food to put in the bowl. Cute activity!
We also played a pet grid game. You roll a dice and cover up that many pets until all pets are covered. We used little beads, but counters would do well for this activity.
{three}
We took dog bones and ordered them greatest to least and vice versa.
{four}
We made letters and made the word dog! This was our first time using this activity and E really enjoyed it. I printed these shapes off from the blog, Confessions of a Homeschooler.
{five}
We took our dogs, Maggie and Molly, to the vet this week, which prompted our fun dramatic play activity. E had a BLAST pretending to be a vet this week to his stuffed animals!

  9. But here’s the thing, it makes a world of a difference when a cat needs exercise, and it’s important to understand why cats need exercise. If you want them to live a healthier and happier life, you need to get them both physically and mentally engaged. It also can prevent feline obesity.vlooienbanden hond
