Spark Student Motivation with the EASY button!

Today I am linking up with Head Over Heels for Teaching for her Spark Student Motivation Saturday! I love this linky because you can share ANY idea, lesson, tip, trick, etc. that motivates students!
What I am sharing is actually new to me - I just bought it tonight, but I've thought about it for a while and think students any age would love it. It's one of those goofy little things, but sometimes those small things make a difference to kids.

What am I talking about?! The Staples "easy" button!
Don't you think students would love hitting the easy button after a big test (as long as other students aren't testing), after a project, etc. I am planning on keeping it at my desk/small group table this year and I think my 5th graders will love it! It's a big hit with my 4 year old so if that's any indication....it'll be a hit!

  1. OMG Lana! I have one too and it's on my list for ideas for Spark Student Motivation Saturdays! Great minds think alike! I LOVE the idea of hitting it after a test-perfect! I've only used it during a lesson and they answer questions correctly. I really try to bring it out when a struggling student's bulb goes off to boost their esteem. Thanks for sharing and linking up friend!

  2. I've had one of those for several years now. I keep forgetting about it. It hangs on my whiteboard....the kids always have to remind me to hit the easy button. HA ha! They love it though. : )
